All five Republicans hoping to succeed Gov. Mark Sanford will appear in their party's first debate this week, and members of the public will be able to submit questions to the candidates.

The Republican parties in Laurens and Newberry counties say the "First in the State GOP Gubernatorial Debate" Tuesday at Newberry Opera House will be moderated by WIS-TV anchor Judi Gatson.
