I Believe Petition

Liberty... Freedom... the right to say what we believe. These are the foundations of our American way of life.

And yet a Clinton-appointed federal judge recently slammed the door on that freedom when she ruled the "I Believe" tags violated the establishment of religion clause.

As the co-sponsor and floor leader of the "I Believe" Act and a true believer in the conservative American principles that are the basis of our country, I can't stand by and let a court ruling take away our ability to express our faith.

Whether you share my personal faith or not, the ability to express your faith is a right guaranteed by the US Constitution. That's why I'm asking you to sign this petition and join the initiative that will make the "I Believe" tag a reality in South Carolina.
